We seek a talented Inhouse Finance Consultant D365 Finance & Operations to join our IT Hub based in Belgrade, Serbia. He/she should have first ERP experience, financeorietend and be fluent in English. Ideally the candidate should speak French.
The candidate will be part of our global ERP-Team and mainly work in finance modules, give training, support users, analyze user requests and write designs to be implemented by our in-house D365 developers. Occasional travels to Africa will be necessary, especially during new roll-out projects.
Responsibilities
- Train users in finance and accounting processes within D365 F&O.
- Give user support together with other internal and external consultants to 400 users.
- Configure, maintain and upgrade D365 F&O finance modules like AP, AR general ledger, fixed asset…
- Perform business analysis and process analysis. Understand and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities and discuss with the stakeholders to find solutions for their requests. Document and communicate findings clearly.
- Write designs together with our developers designs according to the user requirements efficiently combining standard D365 F&O functionality and provide effort estimations.
- Contribute to a D365 F&O implementation as part of the ERP team with focus on the finance modules. Our client takes responsibility for the full lifecycle in a roll-out project.

Requirements
Must-Have:
- At least a first ERP experience ideally with D365 F&O, but minimum with another ERP system like SAP or D365 BC etc…
- Accounting and finance knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting standards and rules.
- Business analysis: Analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes, identify improvement areas, and analyse user requirements.
- Requirements gathering and management: Knowledge in eliciting detailed requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Ability to produce technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance and accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have
- Technical background: Ability to write queries in SQL, experience with Power Platform and BI systems like PowerBI.
- Certifications in process or project management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) beneficial.
